There is a specific moment in a startup's life where the founding team has outgrown being their own product manager — but is not yet ready for a full-time CPO. The roadmap is drifting. Prioritization is reactive. The team is shipping but not sure they are shipping the right things. Investors are asking questions the team cannot answer clearly. I have been in that room. And I know how to bring order to it. 

As a Fractional CPO, I partner with Series A through Series C AI startups on apart-time retainer basis — typically one to two days per week. I bring the product discipline, strategic thinking, and cross-functional leadership of a seasoned big-tech PM, applied at the cadence and cost that early-stage companies can actually sustain.

My background is unusually credible for this work. I hold a Computer Science degree and a USPTO patent in search relevancy. I spent 7 years at Yahoo! leading products across 40 global markets. I have also done the work from the other side: as an independent consultant since 2015, I have advised founders, supported product launches, and helped early-stage teams build the infrastructure they need to scale. 

I am particularly effective with AI-native companies in search, NLP, and EdTech — where my technical background creates real credibility with engineering teams, and where my global PM experience accelerates the path from product idea to scalable execution. My native Spanish fluency is also a concrete asset for companies with LatAm markets or expanding into Spanish-speaking regions.
